Depending on the workflow, CompassCite may handle account information, public website scan inputs, authorized evidence materials, and support requests.
Public website scans
The anonymous scan accepts one public homepage URL and stores a short-lived continuation receipt on the device so the user can recover scan state.
Account and workspace data
Authenticated data is handled within authorized workspace and tenant boundaries defined by the production service.
AI-assisted processing
AI-assisted workflows are subject to the product's evidence, PII, access, and human-review controls.
